OARS has organized another water chestnut removal in August! Join OARS and fellow volunteers on Saturday, August 15th at 9am (meet at 120 Concord Road in Acton). You can either help pull water chestnut from the land or by in the water (by boat). Bring your own kayak or canoe if you are able, but if not, Paddle Boston will provide up to 12 canoes. (When you register, you have to select ‘land-based volunteer’ or ‘water-based volunteer’.) Everyone in a boat must wear a life jacket!
